This is one of the best WYSIWYG free web programs on the net. No-Nonsense, great add-ons, not alot of adware, or ads of any kind period. Plus as far as I know there's no limit to the amount of sites you build using this free program, although I have used different screenames for each one. And if you do end up building a site that gets big and uses a lot of space (and I mean alot-over 125pgs- the fees annually are next to nothing.

An OK website hosting service, but a lot of features are only Premium (which means you have to pay), such as the site stats (there is a free trial though). There is also an HTML version of the hosting which allows you to host your own HTML files, but requires you to put "Created by Webs.com" or similar on your site. I do not recommend it for professional or HTML sites. The site itself is safe and contains no malware as what I have seen.

None of the free site templates offers links to webs.com privacy policy or terms of use/service when people register to hosted site facilities such as the forum or blog. Also, this site offers it's hosted site admins many "features" such as widgets which plague the visitor with an enormous amount of tracking and advertising cookies along with Local Shared Objects (LSO) re: ***** webs.com dynamically generates site features as selected by the site admin. They can also dynamically generate a responsible Terms of use / service and Privacy Policy for each hosted site as well, but they choose not to do so. :(

One of the better website-hosting and website making options out there, Webs (formerly FreeWebs) is pretty much all I ever use to make new websites - well, that and hard-coding with DreamWeaver and similar software. There's a lot of options for even a free website - blogs, photo albums (be careful what you put in the albums if you use this feature), guestbooks and more. Be aware that some features - such as having your own domain - require money, but these extras certainly aren't necessary to create an entertaining, informative, and useful website.

Subdomain vhdvault.webs.com is a crap-laden imitation of VHD.Weebly.com. ***** has some security faults which can allow malware to come up, and the vhdvault.webs.com is full of adware, plus it is an illegal copy of VHD.Weebly.com. Avoid ***** for your privacy and security.
