it is a good website it just they charge you for any thing you want to do on your website buy to be honest it is very easy to make your website & they have a good system & high technology for people to do business & adjust the website, they dont use a primitive system like some other company out there. i am happy & unhappy with webstarts more happy thank you mohamed B hatiras

I've had a great customer experience with Webstarts. They always respond to my questions and feedback. The builder they offer is very easy to use. I've built on other online builders and had no luck at all. The account costs me $69.96 a year for Pro Plus and I'm very happy to pay that price. Also you can create a free website with no upfront credit card info. That's nice! They do send a little spam from time to time, but that's what the delete button is for and if it wasn't for advertising - how would we know what's new? Visit my site *****

Saw a testimonial for the website from a guy named "Jay." It said he was from the very small, unknown town next to mine, and I was amazed, and decided to do some research and with about 50 seconds of researching I found that he is actually from a place in Arkansas, hundreds of miles from me. This site has totally false statements on it. I would not trust them. Be careful.

I have never had a problem nor any of the spam that others are referring to about Webstarts. I pay $47.28 a year for the Pro service. I've had great customer service when I needed it. My site is fairly simple and uses mainly text and photos. I've had the site for 3 years.

I got a website with webstarts about a month ago. I called prior to purchase about their digital downloads and they had sold me on telling me how easy it was and that it was perfect for my ebooks. So I bought the website, set it all up and the shopping cart paying almost $200 for a product that other than people seeing it on the web does NOTHING for me! My digital downloads have NEVER worked although they tell me that it must be my fault that I have done something wrong with building the site. Then they tell me that digital downloads are harder to do and they are making changes to their digital download cart. Also they had put my ebook links on my ebook page for anyone viewing my website to take for free! This made me FURIOUS!! I called them and told them I was furious about that and instead of making it right and apologizing for the mistake they made, they turned it around and said that I had to have put the links there myself! Come one people please wake up! By the time I got off the phone they are still guaranteeing me that my digital downloads are fixed and that they are working. So I go and check and once again NOT WORKING!!!! SO, I've tried to call them back and I'm on hold for over an hour each time! NO MORE!! ANOTHER ISSUE is they claim to be in Washington, but they and their phone system say they are on Eastern time...HMM...not really wanting people to know where they are..I guess! I DO NOT recomend this site to ANYONE! They SCAMED ME and WILL SCAM YOU TO!! Now, I have to put out more money to another website provider because of this, I can't transfer my site for 30 more days, so the money they took from me paid for 60 days of absolutely NOTHING!! I have read several reviews in the past two days and this company has been scamming people all along! I just wish I had researched more before using their services that don't work and losing almost $200 that I'm sure they will never refund!

They're friendly and helpful. I have built websites before using other services and Webstarts is the first one to come through on the claim of making it easy to build a website. When I have problems I can call and get help, something I have had very little success in with other companies. I really can't understand why anyone would use another web builder!

I Searched the web for an easy website builder that wouldn't make me broke. You see, I design sites for my friends and other people, so I needed a site that would let me create their websites for cheap. Webstarts was the best price I found with the best program for building my sites. I found it very easy to use and their support guys are pretty good too, except I stomped them on one question.. Hehe. So use Webstarts, they are good.

I'm not sure where the spam or phishing happened but I've had a very good experience. They are running an iPad contest... I didn't win but its not a scam. They email promotions quite a bit but who doesn't? Also this "mark jackson" guy is a known spammer: he rates everyone poorly. Look at his profile: *****

I started to create a website at webstarts. I almost finished the first page. When I returned to continue, all my text was gone. A couple of weeks later, it was back. Then somewhere on this site (WOT), they posted a nasty comment about how I had rated their site; I had not yet rated it. Their comment included a slur against the poor: (anyone who used the free version). Mostly, it made no sense. It was posted in January, I think. Yet since then, I get spammed every day. 1/2 of it is you must upgrade by midnight. Criticizing and insulting me on an international site over an entry I never made, then pursuing me every day for their business. These people suck. The feee website will cost you $329.00 ($300.00 of which is free Google software). If you object, they will both ridicule you here, and even attribute their own nasty comments to you. They have only disdain for low-income users. My site was to help others. I was not going to make any money from it. But they require that you run ads on their site, which is worth more to them than the cost of a paid accunt. And the program is impossible. STAY AWAY.
