Seems to have been down-voted for not being Wordpress before (The previous owners did redirect to a wordpress related website so nothing wrong there). This domain is now owned by Wordpress so you can trust it! For those  new to Wordpress and evaluating which CMS or blogging software they should use; You made the right choice! Wordpress does it all and then some! It is the easiest to work with if you are not highly technical. You can download and add plugins to expand the features offered and there are thousands to look through! You can pick the theme you want to use if you dont know much about design. If you are a coder, Wordpress is still the right choice and easy to work with and very well documented. Either way its a win!
