Now 6 years after I first inquired with U of Phoenix, I still get direct mail and only recently stopped getting telemarketing calls. Before you enroll, Google for news and reviews about this institution. They have a friendly and inspiring public face, but they have a reputation for putting tuition profits at a higher priority than the best interest of the student. I have read that a very small percentage of their students ultimately graduate, and that they are currently facing a class action lawsuit over deceptive recruitment practices. Tread with caution.
