So, yeah, we get tones of spam from these people. These guys are pure and simply, spammers, with little regard for spam laws. Do a little research. They have a network of thousands of domains to send spam from. They do not enforce permission based marketing, like other email marketing services. They don't have a way to report spam emails on their site. That alone is suspicious. I have NO trust for them.

Although YesMail is a competitor to the place where I work, I feel like I have to come to their defense here. They are NOT a spammer, and they in no way deserve the rating that WOT has given them. They had some trouble with with the CAN-SPAM back in 2006 due to ignored unsubscribe attempts (and yes, that was their fault), but I assure you they've taken steps to correct the problem. Posting those findings as proof of their dishonesty five years later is disingenuous. If anything, they are probably more sensitive to the subject of unsubscribes now than most other ESPs. If one wants to discover the primary shortcoming of WOT in regards to email marketing services, one need look no further than the egregious rating a few posters have been allowed to impart to YesMail. To be honest, by giving YesMail such a poor rating, you actually help my company, but that still doesn't mean it's right.

SPF record : ;; ANSWER SECTION: email-dma.org. ***** IN TXT "v=spf1 ip4:206.165.240.0/21 ip4:97.107.16.0/20 -all” As such, I have listed the hosts and domains on these IP ranges, belonging to AS29973 INFOGROUP INC (Yesmail)

You are all idiots. Yesmail is an email vendor, not a spammer. I work with them. They send emails on behalf of many companies. If they are ever brought up on charges of SPAM it is due to the company it represents, not Yesmail. They are always making sure we are using best practices, because if we get hit with a complaint, they get hit.

Dark grey hat Email Service Provider (ESP), a bulk emailer a lot of whose email seems to go to email addresses that did not opt-in to it. :/ If you are looking for a reputable bulk emailer whose email will not be blocked, you should probably look elsewhere.
