I signed up to get an e-book and not only did they charge me for the "free trial" it signed me up for a bi-weekly subscription to some Czech fitness website that the only way to unsubscribe from is to contact their support team.
Trying to find a technical manual yumpu comes up in search results. They tell me to sign up for a free account. Once I submit my email address, they don't actually provide the PDF download. It's just data collection. Wouldn't let them within 30ft of my credit card info.
Yumpu is an absolute scam once I tried to read a book on there website so I downloaded the book and my adblocker thankfully blocked it but if I didn't have the adblocker I would of got infected so a word of advice DONT GO ON THERE
Wish I'd known about these negative reviews before I gave them my personal info. Everything the negative reviews say is true, they are liars and thieves, promising that if you give them something of value (your email address), they will give you access to the material. Then they don't, but ask for more information of value (your credit card info), but still don't deliver. They just lure you in step by step, then sell your private information to their affiliates and use it for their own profit, and send you spam.
Dishonest.
Probably the biggest scam company out there. Never ever register with them because you will never get a free download. Even if you pay in full subscription, there is no download !!! They sell your info and email to third party. A true master scammer bunch of thieves
Seems to steal data...
I noticed that they display a PDF-style file from "archangel castle" without even understanding what they are doing... For me, ***** should never appears again in my searchresults.
They offer free download of a book; but then you need to register providing an email address; once registered there is no free download; when you try to delete your account they ask for your password but no matter how many times you enter your password it will not accept it. They have you trapped.
They offer one month free to try but when I filled in my details, the monthly plan was charged. I got in touch to request a refund, and they wrote an obvious message telling me how to cancel the account, but they totally ignored my refund request.
Avoid!! They lure you in with a free 30 day offer (which you forget because you only used it once when you signed up) but then they charge your credit card without advising or warning you that they are going to do so. Unethical. Underhanded. Sneaky. Then they refuse to refund you any portion when you cancel immediately after receiving notification from your credit card, citing “terms of service”. Unwilling to work with you. Save yourself the hassle and lost money and avoid Yumpu.
I'll keep it short. Charged yumpu full price but we STILL do not have access to the service. The payment was in Oct 20 19 and it is now Feb 2020. We asked for a refund but our request has been ignored except one response offering less than full amount. Very disappointing that I have to now go public
this company advertises cancel anytime, while in fact they don't follow up to that policy. Subscription plan gives very little customising options.
Great disappointment.
