I used to use these guys services a while ago and they seemed fine. Im not big on the security aspects of things but in other terms they were fine.

There's no problem with this web site at all. Yes it runs pay per click and it used to have a toolbar but so does Google and Microsoft (Bing).

Hello Numbers,
Many of these sites make use of 3rd party "trusted" sources for their ratings without actually having been to the site or having used the platform. McAfee reviewed our site recently and gives it a green (safe) rating. Read the review at http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/7search.com for more info.

I do not like any site that comes up just after you've installed an update, and the site that comes up has nothing to do with anything....! O REASON FOR IT AT ALL REALLY!
They put McAfee on their site to fool ppl into thinking 'that it must be safe or McAfee would never have put their product on it!' SURPRISE! OH YES THEY WOULD. Especially when you can download McAfee's at its own site for free.....DO A BIT OR RESEARCH PPL, IT'S NOT THAT HARD AT ALL NOW-A-DAYS AND WILL SAVE YOU YOUR COMPUTER IN MOST CASES.

While it is unfortunate that you were the victim of a trojan, 7Search does not create nor distribute malware. We have been a search network since 1999 and have helped thousands of advertisers realize their goal of growing their online businesses.
We also do not feature McAfee anywhere on our website, either publicly or internally. It sounds like the scammers used this tactic to help gain your trust to gain access to your machine. I'm sorry this happened to you, but, again, this was not initiated by 7Search.com.

McAfee Siteadvisor isn't correct in all verdicts and this is clearly one that is incorrect. What amazes me is that so many people speak against 7search without being informed about the issue. That doesn't bode well for mywot.
