I bring all users a warning! This back will not help you. this bank will trick you into putting your money into the account. if you lose your card or get stolen, they will not fix this. as right now I am taking Account Now to court for $4000 stolen from my mom. DO NOT USE THIS BANK! Use a local bank!

Something is wrong here - they asked for too much personal information; more than enough for identity theft. Why do they need my birthday and social security number? It appears they are about to use the information to obtain my bank account information and then link a credit card to it. Unfortunately they could do much more if they wanted to. Others have reported unethical activity.

Been using my AccountNow card for quite a while (11 months), no problems. Very useful as they supply you with a Checking Acct number and Routing Number - this allows you to sync your account as a normal bank account with paypal, stock, etc. Also you can instant transfer money to other people (or by check) with AccNow for free. I received a "prepaid credit card" from AccountNow that I did not request, using information that I did not provide them. AccountNow provides no ability to call and correct this issue - all of the listed phone numbers allow you only (and force you to) activate the card, which is the LAST thing I want to do. One of AccountNow's partners implied that AccountNow is illegally sending out these cards unrequested.

Have experienced no problems with this site. Only rated "Privacy" and "Vendor Reliability" less than excellent because they do not request your account number to log in, only zip code, last name, and last four digits of social and they can ON OCCASION be unreliable with their free SMS text alert service. Site is definitely child safe.
