Pretty clear bate n switch. I got a "last room available" deal for a hotel in Miami via them. Entered all my info only to find out that the reservation had been "cancelled". So I called to their Swiss phone number and needed to wait for some 10-15 minutes as they "called the hotel to see if the room would be still available". Result: They would have given me the same price -- but WITH NON-REFUNDABLE CANCELLATION. The deal was originally already not so good: $60 cancellation until a week before the stay, then non-refundable. This would have been ok but non-refundable to begin with for a trip three months in the future -- after the above-noted experience. Give me a break! I told the rep that this seemed like scam to me and didn't take their offer. Now -- not to my surprise -- I've started to get spammy offers to book the stay I originally wanted to: "Hurry as the prices are going up!". Is this some Trump scam scheme? Needless to say I'm not taking their bate and am only hoping that my credit card will not start to get odd charges. Oh, forgot to mention. I specifically ticked the box that I don't want any future offers from them. Idiots braking their own rules.
