This website is safe, but it takes forever to get an answer. There are questions that are 2~3 years old that are left unanswered. You should go visit other alternatives that are are more popular, like Quora or Reddit.

If you're looking for answers, don't come here. There are thousands of other good question sites, like google {duh}, and Yahoo answers. The answers usually aren't correct or make no sense and takes ten minutes to get to at a time due to their slide show. Ads are practically covering the site, and I wouldn't be surprised if it had given me a few cookies upon visit.

I have no reason to believe the site has any 'real' dangers, but the design is extremely poor. There is so much advertising, including noisy video advertising (often more than one playing at the same time!), that the site loads very slowly. Their stuff is advertised heavily on Facebook, but when I realise something I've clicked on is theirs, I close the page. Life's too short ;)
