Member site or account of Trevor Byrne's "Center for Small Business Financing" (SBFC) at ***** - a for-profit company offering "government grants and loans" while having "no affiliation with government", and charging money for services which should be free while providing no service. There are numerous complaints, a Better Business Bureau Alert, and plenty of spam advertisements in Internet forums. If you need money, don't let this gang fleece you. Actually, the fact that the company isn't affiliated with the government is listed on their website right at the top left corner of the page (below the company name). Although it may not disclose that refunds are limited to people that are successful in receiving grants (strictly from the company's database), they do go over this information on the phone. I spoke to one of their reps (I think his name was Vlad?) and he explained all of it to me very clearly. Before you make any definitive judgments, call them and see for yourself. A lot of people post angry comments because they lose their money as a result of poor research/listening skills and laziness. Follow your own judgement.

This is not a government site. It's a private firm that charges $500 to send you a list of available grants. If you are successful and leave a referal you get your $500 back. For all the unsuccessful grant applicants you lose your $500. This is not disclosed on the website.
