This site is about entertainment at its best. However, the contents of those games is definitely not the best for children. ASCII violence violence and gore... Yeah, I get it. I guess since it's nothing really graphical or easily accessible mature content, it is child safe. It may not be safe for child nerds, but then, nothing really is, right?

Entertaining site, though the currently high child safety rating may be misleading. The games offered free on the site are not intended to be child friendly, and it shows, despite the obscurity given by the text-based interfaces. Dwarf Fortress has pretty severe ASCII-art gore and violence. Liberal Crime Squad also has gore and violence, including shooting sprees and torture, plus mention of prostitution and some pretty thick spoken innuendo. No sexually explicit content in either case.
