Pop-ups that get past Google Chrome and Internet Explorer 8. (But not Firefox). Use the actual Britannica encyclopedia at your local library. Or Wikipedia. Or World Book Online. Or World Book. There are endless encyclopedias out there, both hard and soft.
Britannica is not information, but an advertisement. The snippet that appears in searches should read: "To continue reading (more than 100 words), activate your no-risk Free Trial to Britannica Online."
Britannica shows up in searches with no indication that you can't read anything without paying or signing up to pay.
This is interesting. I went back to the site to check something, and suddenly am given access to the entire article. 3:40PM 12/5/10
