Look at Adobe, barely anyone would even know what photoshop is if people hadn't pirated it many many years ago & decided to recommend it to others & more often than not, had their employers (who could afford outrageous prices like that) actually purchase the software for the company they worked at. These people would have you believe that those who pirate software aren't your everyday average person who is likely just like you or me & isn't awful or unkind or a thief by any means, & it's utter bullshit.
