To all of those claiming they got viruses, if you downloaded a trainer, your anti-virus software picks up the trainer as a trojan virus because of the way it is coded. Any program that is made to change the coding in another program pops up as a virus. CheatHappens.com is a very safe site to be on. I have been a member since 2008, and I have never once gotten a virus from them.
It's worth noting now that their trainers require an internet connection to work. There is really no valid reason for this requirement, other than to get you to allow it through your firewall.
Needless to say, with all the complaints of viruses and 'dirty' programs, allow their programs internet access would be the 2nd biggest mistake you could make. The 1st being downloading from them in the first place.
Apart from the functionality of the (paid) trainers (can't test, because I'd never pay for this kind of content):
CheatHappens has been known for black-PR-like marketing techniques, (groundless) defamation of competing game-hackers and (at least) data mining with their trainers (if not other trojan functionality).
It is advised to seek other (free) alternatives to these paid trainers.
I used to be very happy customer. I began with 1 year, then renewed it, then took a life membership..
Complaints in the forum are censored.
Admins are very rude in their responses.
Deactivate your account if you use another trainer.
Try to discredit competitors.
Support does not answer on the support mail.
Bans your ip from viewing even the site.
Bans you or censor you of you don't share their point of view.
many trainers ARE viruses, no they aren't false positives just about every trainer I got from this site was a real virus that would have caused real damage. I don't know why there are so many positive reviews because tons of the trainers here give viruses. I got some from other sites and they are clean, the ones from here are dirty. do not use this site
When I attempted downloading something from this very site my anti-virus began warning me that a virus had entered or was trying to enter my computer, looking at the name of the virus I noticed that it was a Trojan Virus.
cheathappens.com - According to http://www.malwareblacklist.com this site contains an exploit that can harm your computer.
It was detected and reported in May 2011. Take care when visiting this place.
You can find more details at http://www.malwareblacklist.com/searchClearingHouse.php
Call of Duty Black Ops (German Edition) and HAWX2 (Steamversion) not supported! Asking in the Forum about why i should renew my Membership again in 2011 if german Steamcustomers are neglected was censored (deleted!). I am a happy Customer since 2007 - but this arrogance and ignorance is more then enough to stop any plans to renew and pay again for nothing!
Its good site.
All those viruses are just fake cause almost all trainers uses some kind of keylogger which is needed to see did u press the button which will activate the cheat.
Good site and no harm
