Back when Obama was prez, this website highlighted his drone wars and the various ways he greenlighted oil and gas expansion in the US. Now that Trump is prez, it's still mostly coverage about how climate change is going to destroy the planet. This is about as center-left as you can get, unless you think CNN is the Communist News Network. Yeah, don't let your kids read the comments because people might let a few swears let loose. It's still quite civil compared to what else is out there. CD doesn't even really talk about the Russia thing (which, if you keep track of it, is really dividing the left right now). If you're afraid of CD, then be afraid - very afraid! The comment section is mostly filled with old hippies who are either idealistic or cynical, nothing to be concerned about.

Not for kids, as there is little filtering of comments. The site looks great. It's a left leaning news site with no ads. Site is safe to browse. I don't trust this website, as it is filled with anti-nationalist globalist propaganda. However if you are a fan of NAFTA, the WTO, United Nations Agenda 21, or The Venus Project, you'll probably love this website. I don't trust this site.
