Deals that look too good to be true often are. There are privacy risks associated with coupons.com and questionable data practices concerning privacy risks. Malware has been reported here. They refuse to support Mac applications so I can't even use their site. I also wonder with all the times they tried to fix the problem how much unwanted stuff I have on my computer. They are not a democratic company as they discriminate against Apple users.

[link] ***** hpHosts Engaged in the distribution of malware. [link] After using ***** for a few months I found that they are putting PUP's on my computer, which at first they did not show up until months later! Now I have 33 PUP's detected by Malwarebytes (anti-malware program). I used Skybot and two other companies which scan my computer and I have always found Malwarebytes has always found the issues and so does another company which I pay for but Malwarebyes does a better job overall of detection and removal! Two of the four never find the PUP's and never tell me there is an issue! After suffering numerous performance issues, like extremely slow email writing, where as I have to wait for my writing to appear on the screen! I type normally slow and not the proper way, but I know how to type properly, just my health no longer allows me to do that anymore, so you can understand how slow that I type! I have had my screen locking up & my screen flashing while I am either on a word document that I am working on or some other program as it flashes then goes black then flashes and resumes for a few seconds to a few minutes. It also blacks out and in that case I must turn off the computer and restart! These are a few of the many issues that these PUP's have caused me problems as a result of them attaching themselves to my computer! It makes it hard to get things done when your computer is not working properly due to malware (PUP's)! Now I did find that all 33 PUP's came from this site as it is indicated in the PUP's! Now if you want to have your computer have these issues and more as I described, be my guest and continue to use what you may think is a harmless or safe website, but beware and be warned! What ever you do do not down load their coupon bar! That is "he" double hockey sticks in a handbag or handbasket! If your computer is having issues and you have downloaded the coupon bar, get rid of it and your computer should recover, but beware of ***** as it can still put the PUP's on your computer! To those who have no idea what a PUP is, it is not a cuddly puppy and it's not a band or young animal! PUP = Potentially Unwanted Program! When you click on some 'coupon' links they take you to an affiliate URL, with no 'coupon' or 'discount' found, they just get money when you buy things using their links.
