Look past the controversy, I implore you. This is hands down the best site on the net for buying firearms specifically designed for children. Your child's first rifle is almost as important a part of their childhood as their first fix of heroin. Responsible parents trust Crickett, the rifle of American families.

Crickett follows US law concerning the sale of firearms. Any gun bought online gets sent to an FFL, and the firearm purchaser must then get the gun from the FFL, who will refuse to transfer the firearm if the purchaser fails to meet the requirements (age: 18 for rifles, 21 for pistols, criminal record: not a convicted felon or convicted of domestic violence). There is absolutely no reason for the current low ratings for trustworthiness and child safety.

These are not toys sold to kids. These are youth models for parents to train their children firearm safety. Children must be taught safety, responsibility and respect for firearms. Mystique, ignorance, unfamiliarity and carelessness is what harms children.

Claims of "false claims" and "sells guns to children" are totally bogus. The problems are not with the site or the products but rather gun-control activists who will do and say anything, even lie, in an attempt to sway, coerce or threaten reasonable folks to fall in step with radical, ill-conceived and ill-fated political views.

People should not rate down websites because they do not agree with PERFECTLY LEGAL activities protected by CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS. Many states allow children to use firearms under direct supervision by a legal guardian of legal age. Check the firearm regulations in your state for more information. If you don't enjoy exercising your Second Amendment Rights, that's your business, but that should not in any way effect your ability to rate a site.

There is NOTHING wrong with this site. It's disgusting to see that people push their political views to destroy a website's credibility. They do not sell firearms to children. You must be over 18 and they will ONLY ship to a valid FFL. I cannot even believe the ignorance I have seen in the posts here. Get a life, people.

How do you find out what the reasoning is behind a poor rating. If it's just political that's BS. I'm 52 years old and been around guns all of my life. Both my grand daughters received a Crickett rifle on their 4th birthday. I'm a responsible parent and I raised a responsible parent. The girls are supervised when shooting. That's what a responsible parent does. Same goes for swimming pools, kitchen knives, household cleaners etc. I guess I need to do a little research and see if WOT is simply politically biased. If that's so I guess WOT can not be trusted.

The negative ratings on this website appear to be biased and politically motivated, and have no actual basis in fact. I have had no problems with the website, all gun purchases are strictly legal and to adults purchasers only, and the gun contains many safeguards that any responsible parent would be able to render the Crickett harmless. The company takes all measures to make the gun child-safe and friendly.
