dropbox.com é seguro?

a popular site for serious file sharing; using secure technology. Great for graphic artists and photographers. Clean simple setup; i've recently started using it, and have been impressed. Several professionals I know have recommended this site; some have relied on this site for quite some time.

Dropbox has had a number of security and privacy issues recently, overall showing their disregard for the security of their users. 1. They lied about being able to access users' data on their servers. They said they couldn't, but they could. This is probably the worst thing overall, but it's really just an ethical issue. The other two are what make you question whether they have any concern for security at all: 2. They have an enormously insecure way of authenticating users. All someone has to know is your computer's hostname and they can get access to all your Dropbox files. 3. For 4 hours on the afternoon of June 20, they had no authentication system at all. A bug in an update allowed anyone to log into anyone else's account until ti was fixed.
