Its age limit is 13 and it should be higher. It has phishing and almost everything you see is inappropriate. Not even legally allowed 13-year-olds should be here. The age limit should be 18 at least.

Facebook tracks your web browsing even after you log off. I recommend you use "Cookie Killer for facebook" as well as block ads with "AdBlock Plus." Always delete your cookies when you log-out. Also, sign up for login notifications in case someone logs into your account from a different page. Facebook's tracking is notorious but we all want to be on the social media website. So, protect yourself with extensions. Also, use a "do not track" for facebook.

One of the best social networks. You can see all of your friendsá activity, photos and notifications. You can posts your photos, links, videos. It also has a nice mobile version.

I do not think facebook is good for anyone under 21 yrs. old. Too much adult content for children to not get lured into believing, acting out, or think is morally right.

I trust this site, I have been using it for a couple of years now and I had no spam issues. Sometimes the changing privacy policy is a bit of a concern though. For children it might be a bit problematic to see that random post of users that can have uncontrolled content.

Personenbezogene Daten sollten nicht der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht werden.
Privatsphäreeinstellungen dementsprechend tätigen.
Kinder sollten ambesten nur unter Aufsicht diese Seite nutzen, zumal sie "leicht gutgläubig durchs Leben gehen". Oder die Eltern sollten diese Seite "Kindersicher" machen.

I do trust Facebook, however I feel that there are certain factors that can stretch the privacy issues. Keep in mind that if you dont want people knowing personal information, to just be careful what you post online.

Aslong you have your FF addons (Like No-script, Better Privacy, Ghostery, Adblock Edge, Flashblock) you should be fit to "fight" Facebook! I distrust facebook/youtube and google more and more for each day who goes by! Alot of tracking and commercials.

I think it's generally safe, but it's up to each user what they post and have consequenses resulting from that. Using privacy settiing wisely can enhance privacy and online security, i think.
