Ratings and comments do not match. Which tells me their is some kind of bullshyt going on. Some people are lying about this site. Good or bad? I don't know. But either way,Go at your own risk. Anytime you see a site on WOT where the comments and the ratings don't match, Be careful. You have no idea which is telling the truth.

I have to rate low on child safety for language and some photos I have seen on the site. There is just too much swearing on some comments needs to be better monitored.

I know this site may have a LOT of ads. but I find this site interesting and fun. sure it may rarely have adult content. some ads. I have never got a virus from this site. as long as you have ad block plus. your good. but It's my opinion. I have never had a problem with this site. :)

Profiting fandoms of copyrighted works is illegal under international copyright law.
Not to mention plagiarizing celebrities and cartoon characters especially with adult content.

Use fanpop with our Bears fan club. Too many pop ups and annoying toolbar at the bottom. No thanks..

It's a fun site. There is adult content on there however so not suitable for children (even though the site is welcomes ages 13 and up lol). Pop-ups have been blocked by Adblock for me. Haven't received any viruses also.

Amazing site. Not a very good site for kids though. I think that it's a awesome site to make new friends and have fun! :D

Good site all-around. If you're worried about pop-ups, just install AdBlock Plus and you won't get any. Also, I've received absolutely NO viruses or trojans from Fanpop.
