Google is a search engine, but just be careful what links you click on because the sites it searches for could be dangerous. Google also has a poor reputation with tracking your history.

Has some privacy issues, but overall very well. An excellent search engine and becoming a hub for the entire Internet. The issues have to deal with more the amount of information they have than how they use it.

I believe that it is an all around good site I have e-mail on it and I have it as my home page also. i use it for the maps and the search engine and i have used the there information telephone number too and it is a lot easier then calling the plain old information

Best Search engine out there. Only tracks what you do if you let them, don't know about IE, but Firefox has a handy plug in that easily turns this feature off.

Google !!! you just cannot go wrong wid it. I must say, google stands out from the likes of MSN, AOL, Lycos, blah blah blah. Hats off to their originality, uniqueness and creativity. Google is the real trend setter and also an innovator.

Mostly safe, but on some searches it could contain malware.

Google's BETA G-mail is extremely slow in downloading mail. And I found out that any address with https creates this problem.
So I use google chrome. It is independent of IE8
and Google-BETA.

its a very good site but if a child looks up something not for them the site won't stop them or ask them to confirm
