identified.com é seguro?

Creative concept! Identified does more than other professional networks by giving it's users feedback on how companies and employers see them. In today's tough economy it's about time a website like this emerged! In terms of privacy, Identified is pretty secure. Identified only takes your professional information and leaves out all the personal information that you wouldn't want your employer to see. In addition to this, when you join it gives you the option to send an invitation to your friends so you don't have to spam your whole network. Overall I'd say Identified's a great site and I'm excited to see how it evolves!

In response to Nonio's comment noting that this site is spammy, I happily beg to differ. Identified allows users to login via Facebook, very much like how MyWot allows users to log into its service via FB. The permissions to allow Identified to email your friends etc -- all of these parameters are set by the user accessing Identified, and *only* by the user. You may recall that Facebook went through a class action lawsuit recently forcing it to be incredibly transparent in which permissions it gave to apps on its platform so that users, like Nonio, who are confused about what an app does will no longer feel frustrated by the service. As that comment was left in August (before the lawsuit went through), these strict rules are obviously now in place, and Identified is absolutely dedicated to the privacy of its users. ... Just saying. /Thumbs up.

I received an email from these guys, saying "John Doe has invited you to join Identified!" (where John Doe is a friend of mine) I contacted the friend, and he said he'd tried the service, but hadn't requested that any such invitation be sent. Glancing at the "Identified" website myself, the first step is "Connect to Facebook". It appears that they use Facebook to harvest your contacts' email addresses, and then they spam those people on your behalf, pretending that it's an exclusive invitation sent by you. (and the cycle continues, presumably) Definitely shady & deceptive business practices. Flagging as "scam".
