jzip.com é seguro?

J Zip is completely safe. It does have a malicious toolbar, but you don't have to install it. It even says it in the description of the website saying something like, "J Zip is free of malware/spyware/adware and is completely free. We DO have a malicious toolbar, but it is optional to install." By, "Description of the Website," I mean the description on the WOT page just below a screenshot of the website.

I have had jZip for years and really like it. I am concerned about all of negative comments that I have read, but I have experienced none of issues. So I honestly dont know what to make ot it. Never had my broswer hijacked, or issues with toolbars. The only thing that makes me look on sites like this is ourcesloc.dll keeps coming up on Ad-Aware as a potentially unwanted program. I run other virus and adware/syware programs as well and they never flag jZip. I am on jZip version ***** I guess I wont upgrade from that version and continue to watch it.

Nothing wrong with this site. jZip is a legit - NO spyware or adware. I have had it (jZip 1.3) scanned by 43 anti-virus programs on the site ***** and it is 100% clean ! If you returned to this site after rating it down please verify my claim and reconsider your rating. Be aware that your rating may seriously affect the future of a site and a program.

Although jZip itself seems to be clean, it comes from a company (Discordia) which: - has hijacked an opensource project domain (Shareaza and PantheraProject) - impersonates the original authors of Shareaza and distribute a fake version. - has taken over two other P2P programs (BearShare and iMesh) - distributes spyware. I *STRONLY* recommend against using jZip, especially when there are good and clean alternatives (such as ***** )
