they sold a "lifetime" product as "ManyCam Studio" but they discontinued it and now requires a subscription.. not so "lifetime" then is it.. this company is a fraud!

Don't know why people say it's malicious, it might ask you if you want to install some random PUPs but you can choose to NOT install them.
Also, you can see evilfantasy rated it safe, who have user of the year trophys.

I specifically unchecked the crapware it wanted to install in their installation wizard and also clicked Decline and it installed the crapware anyway. It installed an unwanted toolbar in Firefox and Malwarebytes shortly after installation detected malware.

THIS WILL INSTALL SEARCH PROTECT BY CONDUIT EVEN IF YOU CAREFULLY UNCHECK THE BOXES!! I have installed Manycam on 5 different virtual machines, and CAREFULLY unchecked everything. They ALL got Conduit malware. Do NOT install this. This program is not what it used to be!

Even if you carefully do NOT check the boxes for Ask toolbar, this site installs it anyway. Be careful if you download this product.. you will get Ask toolbar.

This site has installed a spyware & a virus on my computer and has penetrated my email account.
I highly recommend not using it and reporting it to sites like WOT.

upon installation, program attempts to shut down all antivirus/internet security suites (and was successful with one of mine.) Fortunately, I had Online Armor and IObit Security, which detected 41 traces of viruses and malicious code.
Comodo internet security, once back online, caught it installing global hooks to the webcam, keyloggers, and adware and BHO extensions.
I quickly removed all traces of the program. DO NOT VISIT THIS SITE.

After I installed this progman. it also installed some addons to my firefox without asking for it and firefox warned me about hijacking

Amazing webcam manager program. I've used this for live online webcasts and DJ shows. The greenscreen/background detector also allows for great effects to be added while chatting/streaming. It also allows you to set your webcam to play video/show image clips, making it easier to share content with your friends/family over webcam chats. All in all, I recommend this product.
