This sites reliability has to be really called into question. Looking at their review scores for Conan and Fright Night you find that it includes reviews from the "original" films from almost 20 years ago. How do you give a "Metacritic" score to a movie that is based on reviews from an entirely different movie from decades ago?
Not a very reliable site, wow how do you claim to be a award winning site with basic mistakes like that.
This is where you go when you need to check if something's worth seeing, playing, listening to etc...
But remember to do a little bit of research and don't just go with their "summarized" score, check what the good and the bad reviews are saying so you don't go blind just believing a pair of numbers.
Its a great way understand what you're getting into, but almost every review has a crappy rating. If you have 3 people calling an album perfect, and 1 saying it sucks, then you'll end up with a shitty score. That just isn't fair. Feed a couple of jackass bastards the idea of giving a bad score, and you can totally nuke not only an album, but an entire band.
Good site that aggregates professional/media review scores together. Just beware of the user reviews, some scores are low because of "fanboys".
I find Metacritic to be a better source for games, movies and book reviews, I can see the general reaction to many reputable reviews instead of having to focus on the occasional chronically biased reviewer. Good or bad.
