Spreads FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt, as well as lies) about Linux and free software in general,
Engages in extremely monopolistic behavior,
Attempts to use the "Embrace, extend, extinguish" philosophy to lock-in and monopolize formats, markets, and protocols,
Encourages hardware makers to make it more difficult (or impossible) to install Linux,
Abuses software patents to sue companies to enforce their monopoly,
Is beginning to tell users what they can and can not do with the OS that they bought on the hardware that they bought,
Plants advertisements in their (newer) OSes, regardless of the fact that you paid for them,
Started a marketing campaign where you can actually get a free Windows phone if you share a good enough Android horror story,
Creates highly hypocritical smear campaigns against rival companies such as Google,
And above all pretends that they're not doing anything wrong (this is NOT a political comment; this is ethics and responsibility; Microsoft's behavior hurts both the market and consumers).
It's the official site, all right, but this company is wicked to the bone.
If you have a legitimate and truthful (no trolling just because you love Microsoft) complaint about this comment, then post a message on by board (public, preferrably), and I will amend/remove this comment as soon as I see the message.
