The "scanning feature" is free, it will come up with several false positives leading you to believe you have viruses and/or other problems. Then you need to buy their software to remove the viruses and fix the problems. Sometimes scamware such as this will not just show false positives, but sometimes actually creates problems for the paid software to remove.
I saw another of these annoying ads on TV and decided to investigate. I looked at the people, on WOT, that evaluated it positively and most had 1-5 reviews and most seemed to begin with WOT at the same time. Does the word shill need to be invoked? Their website is owned by the same people as finallyfast.com. These seem to be rogue sites and best avoided. I am sure they will come up with another name in the not too distant future, as word spreads about this one.
A bunch of computer scams preying on people who don't know enough about their computers. Commercials on TV here make it sound like all of us have viruses unless we use their service. I've used Kaspersky Internet Security since my first computer back in 2002 or so, and I have never had a virus get past it. It even flagged ***** as a bad website same as WOT did. !
Do NOT install this trash program. It's a total ripoff and high risk of malware. There are a host of free, safe & reliable programs on the web that can fix 90% of PC problems. ie: Malewarebytes, Spybot S&D, Avast & Ad-aware free versions, CCleaner etc. Go to a PC help forum and learn to repair the problems yourself. Installing deceptive & untrustworthy programs like this are a ripoff and will likely damage your system even further, as well as compromise your privacy and security.
Takes you to CyberDefender security site and installs a highly advanced Trojan Horse virus. The virus disables all security software and restricts you from acessing any other programs on your system (My Documents, Command Prompt, Ect.) and is actually a virus from the company itself.
In one case a guy was charged $250 to have the "virus" removed, the tech removed the virus remotely and did not use the CyberDefender software.
I recommend that nobody even think of visiting this site unless you feel you want to spend $250.
Bad bad website you can tell that its bad a cheaply made ad for a URL for a virus cleaner that changes frequently. This mycleanpc ad is just as bad as the finally fast one. If you seen bad acting and the fake blue screens the reason why they have the blue screens ( the guys in the finally fast ad ) because they downloaded the program in the all i got is if you see a cheap ad with crappy software well... you get my gist . If you going to infect someones computer with a crappy anti-virus software you might as well make good ads to lure people into falling for the trap or here's this for a fact? Don't put an ad in the first place that's how everybody can see how sick these companies really are!!!
