mywot.com é seguro?

This is potentially useful, given that everyone who evaluates this site is honest in their ratings. I'm concerned, like others, about the use of the scorecard to voice their personal opinions, rather than to inform other of whether or not the site is a) trustworthy, b) reliable (for vendors), c) not intrustive to other people's privacy, and d) safe for children. Sound familiar? Also, I don't like the idea of one overall score; in other words, it's misleading to see a green circle for the overall site when one category may be green and one other is orange/yellow. Lastly, I do worry about people who abuse this site by spamming the comment boards and giving random ratings to different sites. It's hard to trust users' opinions sometimes; sometimes you find that the rating makes no sense. Of course there's more concerns, but all in all, I still use this site with caution; I go to other resources for more information about a website. Web of Trust is a great idea, but I think it may still be quite flawed.

Holy! This site really helps me protecting my computer from unwanted viruses and scams. At first, I was sad because I am deleting my Mcaffee Site Advisor since it's limited and have to install antivirus again. Another factor is that I'm using google chrom and it's hard to have anti virus/net security for it, BUT WOT was created and it really helps you a lot! GREAT YEAH!

i have never known that so many sites can be dangerous... WOT was recommended to me by my cousin he is a professional computer engineer. wot knows more sites than the site adviser. and have a lot of good ratings than any other.. now i can surf the internet safely thanks to wot

This site is not helpful at all. It lacks facts. WOT does not offer a real impression of sites that are good or bad. It only allows those people with opinions to post their opinions without any valid facts required. I believe this site is a law suit waiting to happen. Do your own due diligence. Do not trust a few lackeys who have nothing better to do with their lives.

Unfortunately this site allows anyone to anonymously give bad comments and ratings to ANY site (it could be yours). Because there seem to be no checks made by WOT admin many good, honest businesses are being seen in a bad light by WOT members. Until checks are put in place and good businesses are not attacked this site (WOT) should be closed down. It is should probably be regarded as the most “UNTRUSTEDWORTHY” site online until these matters are addressed.
