Connections to this site are made over a secure (HTTPS) link and communications are encrypted. The site has never, as far as I am aware, served up malware of any description and I regard it as a safe and trusted site.
To those users who have complained about receiving emails from The National lottery : Camelot (who have the licence for the UK National Lottery) do NOT send out emails inviting recipients to claim prizes : anyone receiving such an email should mark it as Spam and forget about it. "Lottery-win" scams abound; if something looks too good to be true then it is.
As for the ethics of the Lottery itself : I may not approve of gambling but I buy Lottery tickets anyway, and use this site to check the winning numbers. Of course, you should always bear in mind that gambling only pays when you're winning...
