A friend with considerable high level, world-wide consulting experience at a top tier consulting firm interviewed with Kenway Consulting. You would think they could have been more up front and figured the salary matter out at the time the offer was made -- not two months later. Not only was this handled poorly, but it wasted a considerable amount of time. It is unconscionable to offer a position then try to renegotiate the salary then withdraw the offer -- not to mention that it places at risk the individual's current position as well as wasting considerable time and having to start the job search all over again. . If this is an example of ethical consideration, then I have to question why anyone would want to engage them. I sure wouldn't -- and won't.
