Good website for getting old versions of software. However, its reliance on its small community for uploading software has made most software have its "latest version" on the site years out of date. Therefore, this site is more useful for finding software for legacy operating systems, like Windows 9x or Windows 2000.

I'm having an issues with the latest release of chrome.My pen's right click wasnt working, with chrome alone. I have saved version 30 of chrome stand alone in my drive, tried that and my pen's working. but then that's released about 3 years ago, So i downloaded earlier release of chrome from this website, version 40+.. The browser installs and work but then it came with malware, and bloatware.. it install a tv station like software like netflix, and another unidentified software that downloading large files! so I quickly system restored my PC but it failed and make my pc completely unusable.. luckily I have an image back up just a couple of days ago.

I am always questioning the validity of these kinds of sites. That let you download old (any) software, old drivers etc. Because they are usually not even giving you what you asked for and instead load you with SpyWare or they wrap the real installer with their own so you get the product, but also whatever else they decided to install with it. I looked at the reviews I could find and decided it was worth a shot because I really needed some software that I have the license for, but could find the install discs. I took a snapshot (System Restore Point) to go back in case something happened. I downloaded the software. It was just the software nothing else and worked great. I went and downloaded two other programs just to be sure it wasn't a one time thing or luck of the draw. All three were perfect and just the original OEM software installation. THANK YOU ! ! !
