Many others mention it before and I as well think that OpenOffice is a great alternative to MS Office. Sure it may not have all the features you maybe know from MS Office, but it is free and will help you to get the Job done and that very well. Keep up the good work :)

Have been using open office for some time with no problems. Works well with both MS Office and MS Works. Brilliant for free!

I have both MS Word and OpenOffice and I use OpenOffice because of how good and easy to use it is. It sometimes glitches when trying to install but it is safe, secure, and a great tool for anyone looking to save some money but not willing to give up productivity

The best free office suite available. If you don't have Microsoft Office, then I recommend using this OpenOffice or if you buy Office.

A great, free, and open source text editing programs such as Microsoft Word. The site itself is safe and child-safe, and the software has no viruses.

WARNING: Open office.org is a legitimate site. There are fakes out there too. I am too new to risk going back to find them. If during your download, you get a page offering 1,000's of free games, you are not on the official open office site. Quit the download, go back, and find the real site. It loads like a normal website: no gimmicks.
