Cool service, it allows people to save photos which likely have certain imprinted moments in their lives. It's only for memory and this is cool that there is a share access and you can upload photos & videos with friends and then reminisce together atfer a while. The fee isn't high, and it's awesome there are such functions as album creation, auto backup and many others. But it's a pity group sharing is available only if you choose a more expensive plan.

En effet, ce service restreint désormais l’accès à ses images depuis des sites externes aux seuls utilisateurs disposant d’un compte premium de type PLUS 500 moyennant plus de 350 Euros/an ! affraidConséquence : plus de 100 millions d'internautes ont été mis devant le fait accompli en découvrant du jour au lendemain une notification les invitant à créer un compte premium en lieu et place des images qu’ils avaient intégrées à leurs propres sites. paleEn effet, depuis son passage en version payante, les images PhotoBucket issues de comptes non premium ne s’affichent plus sur les sites externes et sont remplacés par une image par défaut invitant l’utilisateur à souscrire un abonnement.

A few days ago, photobucket got rid of 3rd party hosting without any warning. 90% of users use photobucket for that purpose, so all of your photos have been locked up behind a $400-$500 pay wall. Apparently, you have to get the Plus 500 plan just to do what many other sites like imgur let you do for FREE. If you have any art, photos, or work with graphics of any kind, DO NOT use photobucket. If you still have your photos/art, find a new hosting site IMMEDIATELY (preferably one that's free like imgur, deviantart, or tumblr). Report them to FTC or the Online Complaint Assistant. A paywall this big and sudden is a ransom scam no matter how you look at it. Quite a shame, too, photobucket has been a decent website for over 15 years... EDIT3: Well, we've finally figured out why some people can download their photos and others can't. You have to have some sort of subscription to download your photos off, and you'll have a year to do so before they get rid of that option. If you DIDN'T have a subscription of any kind when this bs happened... I guess you're flat out screwed. I wish everyone luck, especially those with 1000+ photos...

site made for photo sharing, but it has a lot of downsides. 1: So much cookies... lags computers a lot. 2: pop-ups and ads everywhere. (adblock doesn't block it all.) 3: occasional inappropriate images. 4: pop-ups may lead to viruses. I suggest you do not go to this site unless: 1: you need to upload an image for a website in HD or 2: you have a good antivirus, adblock, and a popup blocker and want to put some photos there.
