Popular "social news" site with user-submited links and text posts. Reddit contains a variety of material (cats, technology, etc.), but some posts may be controversial or offensive (political issues, racism, nudity, etc.) Non "child-safe" posts are marked with NSFW (Not Safe For Work).
Very good for education and entertainment.
While using Yahoo web browser to look up myself by using my real name.
I could not believe all the places where I show up which is ok but one hugh problem it shows pictures of myself on different sites. These photos you can access by clicking on them which brings them up in a different window and anyone could cut ,copy, paste into any website or use them for personal reasons. Although since most of us do not copy right our name.
Lots of freewheeling content on reddit, which is what makes it such a great site, but parents be cautious as there are some unsavory or, at least, child unsuitable subreddits out there. Just like the rest of the internet, though, I guess.
