I guess the "TRUSTe Web Privacy Seal" doesn't mean crap. I get spam that I never signed up for from vendors using this service. (I know, because it comes to an address that I *never* use to sign up for anything -- it was harvest from our company directory).

I work at this company. I have worked here for almost 2 years. While there are some, SOME, unsolicited emails that get sent though our system, we do not like NOR tolerate it. I personally work to ensure new clients on our system are using organically constructed email lists of their customers who have asked for email contact. Nobody is perfect, and while sometimes we trust our customer too much and they abuse us, it is not normal. We respect our clients rights as well as the rights of the end users and try in all possible arenas to walk the tight line that is reputable email service provider. I normally would not write a review of a site that sends me an email, but in this case I have received one and only ONE EMAIL from this company. It is an email I requested. I joined a waiting list for ***** a while back and today I got the offer to join via verticalresponse.com. The annoying thing is that I had to get the email out of my spam folder. The email I got was requested and should not have gone to spam. I hope all the others that are saying they get spammed are blaming the correct company. Based on my experience I have no choice but to give them positive remarks. If I get any spam in the future I will return and change my feedback.
