Great site with useful information about the Watchtower Cult. I was once part of the Watchtower Cult (Jehovah's Witnesses) and this site opened my eyes to the cults disgusting practises/lies etc.... I didn't blindly follow this site by its word alone, making my own judgment from other sources including the Cults own words from their own literature. This site has saved many from the Watchtower Cult. Thank you dearly from my heart.

Those of you who are in the religion think that outside information is bad ask yourself these three questions. "Why does the WTBTS not want me to have this information ? Is my mind not capable enough to make my own decisions ? What is the WTBTS hiding so that I do not have the information I need ? I hope that one day those snared by these false prophets will see the light and find out the real truth about "The Truth" . Peace be with them all xx

Forum for xJW, as with most forums it's adult based. Open to free speech and everyone is welcome unlike JW sites which are closed minded and paranoid who can join. This site has helped many break free from the wts cult and great support group. Factual proof is freely shared unlike wts forums which hide their sources or ban members for saying outside of present allowable jw content. All jws are encouraged to at least lurk around and read the content and compare the facts.

I have chatted to some intelligent, honest, non-judgmental people on this site. Most share factual information which allows the reader to find their own opinion based on research they have carried out. Anyone can have an opinion on anything but facts speak for themselves.

This site is wonderful, and has worked hard to free many people from the dangerous cult of Jehovah's Witnesses. The Watchtower practices information control, and this site makes the information available. People have walked away from this evil organization, being shunned by their closest loved ones, not knowing where to go, and sometimes not knowing if life is worth living. They find friends here. When all of the people who claimed they loved them, turned their backs in hate, they found acceptance and support at this site. This site has saved lives---unlike the Watchtower.

Another awesome online resource to help ex cult members familiar with Jehovah's witnesses to relate and move on with their recovery and lives, if you are seeking people who "get it!" or have questions that are not GIVEN TO YOU in the watchtower and awake magazines, then take a peek inside.

For anyone thinking of leaving the organisation it is an excellent place to find support and real understanding. Doctrine and issues such as shunning, and problems with relationships with JWs can all be discussed in a non judgemental environment. I personally have found it an invaluable place to find out the truth about Watchtower flip flops and issues. Witnesses may find it challenging but sometimes the truth hurts.

If you are considering this religion or are active yourself, I beg of you to research the facts about the religion. If you truly have "the truth", then it should be able to stand up to any scrutiny. Is a scientist afraid of "apostates" spreading lies about how the Earth is flat? Of course not, as it won't stand up in the facts. So why is the religion saying to "be afraid" of so-called "apostates" if they are only spreading lies? Shouldn't they debunk whatever these "apostates" say just like a scientist debunks a psuedo-scientist? But have you ever seen the religion debunk so-called "apostate lies"? If they were really lies then they would be easily debunked. But If you do your own research you will see that they are not lies, but backed up with sources and citations. (a thing the Watchtower literature doesn't do all the time, and sometimes even misquotes sources or takes them out of context, look up the sources yourself, do your own research to "make sure of all things fine.") But of course don't take my word for it. Do *your own* research and stop taking other people's word. I can't stress this enough. The internet is such a great place to research and find information. Use Google, and make sure the source information is credible. Cross check with Watchtower literature and see who is *really* telling the truth. You can see who is right and who is wrong by the ones that want to suppress information (like dictatorships) and take their word for it, and those that open and free information and want you to do *your own* research. The official watchtower sites do NOT present the true history of the watchtower religion. Only when you speak to current and former members do you see what a dangerous, manipulative, mind-control cult the jehovah's witnesses are. IF you are even considering talking to a jehovah's witness, PLEASE PLEASE take time to look on sites like this one to see the truth about their religion. They are a deceptive, manipulative cult. They completely lie about their history.

This is not a website for current Jehovah's Witnesses, but for those who are seeking help trying to leave. The Jehovah's Witnesses are a high control group. They demand total obedience and teach families to shun the ones who do not follow along and decide to leave. They demonize family against the ones that disagree with them, branding them mentally diseased. They force women into submissive roles, teach hate of LGBT, and their tolerance for corporal punishment means many of them are abusive towards their spouses and children. I do not speak for every single Jehovah's Witnesses, as some are good people. A lot of them do not even know that because of their "guidelines", child predators are protected from the law in order to keep everyone from finding out about pedophiles in the Jehovah's Witness "religion". Be careful if you decide to continue forward with a bible study. If you want them to stop coming at your door, ask to be put in the "Do not call" list, and you could also place a No Soliciting/Proselytizing sign on your door.

Good informative site. Negative comments are from active Jehovah's Witnesses, wich is ironic as by their own rules are prohibited by to visit such sites. According to their leaders everything they say is true, while anybody who says different is by a default a liar.
