I gave this site 4 stars but it's a tossup between 3 and 4. It lets you download youtube videos at least up to 1080p, but the ads on the website (usually popups) are sketchy as heck. Good site, if you don't interact with the ads.

Yes, the website does download videos but be warned! My old laptop, that was completely normal and up to date, broke because y2mate had a huge virus! Also, the ads on the website are inappropriate and not suitable for kids

I say this is good because you can actually download the music without having to download other software. There are malware/scam pop ups and redirects in the site, just don't click on them or allow downloads from the pop ups/redirects and you are perfectly fine. What I usually do is I go to settings and search "pop ups" then you click what shows up and then put in y2mate.com as a BLOCKED site for pop ups and redirects. It is overall safe, but with scams and malware. Just do not click on ANY of the scams and do NOT download anything else BUT the MP3 file and you are perfectly fine!
