You can't buy software anymore, you can buy the right to use it a couple of days or months, that's all and it's more expensive than ever. You have to give away your personal data in order to use the software. It's said you can't get technical support if your bought time or older Software (newly bought) doesn't function.
If you don't use an ad blocker, you can get viruses onto your computer that are hidden inside Flash videos. So don't try to use anything by Adobe when you are connected to the internet.
Importunate company that wants to push you the product "McAfee security scan plus" through the throat, when installing Adobe Flah Player updates. During installation of that there isn't a screen that offers you the choice to yes or no install the additional Mcafee program.
It's unethical to add a PUP like this ! And even more if you can't choose NOT to install ( no opt out available ).

This site is safe, but I'd recommend deleting the Macromedia auto-updater.
I don't like auto-updaters that always run.
They create a back-door and hog system resources.

Safe site that provides many useful applications such as flash and photoshop.
Adobe software is far too expensive. Similar software is available a lot cheaper from Corel, Serif etc. Or use free software such as Inkscape, Blender, or GIMP.
link for info on managing settings & deleting LSOs does not work. Adoba probably doesn't care, since it benefits them for users to let LSOs reside on internet users' machines. feh!
These people do their best to sneak in "additional" software into your downloads. BE VERY CAREFUL or you will end up with all kinds of crap you don't want. It burns my backside when gorilla marketing is more important than transparent customer service and product offerings.
The official website of Adobe. Just be careful to opt-out of the third party software that is bundled with Adobe products (e.g. Google Toolbar, McAfee Security Scan, etc.)
