One of the most respected email systems available to small businesses to create an email newsletter to their customers.
Those that say it is "spam" are not aware that it complies with CAN-SPAM act and that any emails sent from it clearly show that it was sent from the Aweber service and it has an "Unsubscribe" link automatically placed at the bottom of each email. Furthermore Aweber displays the mailing address of the sender, which Aweber verifies by mail. If the mail is returned the street address is then deemed invalid and the user account will be disabled.
Those who state that this site is spam are not aware of the legal definition of spam.
Take all of the comments below with a good pinch of salt. Aweber as a service does not spam anyone. However, since they have more than 120,000 customers who are paying every month to use their service to send emails to their customer lists there are bound to be some that will send unwanted messages from there.
Aweber follows the CAN SPAM act to the letter and if you click at the bottom of any of the emails sent through to their system to unsubscribe this is exactly what will happen.
The one complaint I have about Aweber is that their delivery percentages seems to have gone down. This means that more of the emails sent though their system now get blocked by the ISPs and enters the spam box instead. This indicates that there is less and less interaction with the emails by customers who receive them (they are not opened and read as frequently), which is obviously a bad thing for anyone using their system to email their customers...
I just got off the phone with AWeber's customer support and wanted to say what a pleasure it is to work with them. They always pick up right away and are quick to solve any problem that I might have. Great job guys!
