After purchasing a course for $0.91 in July 2024 through PayPal, I was shocked to find a $52.55 charge for an annual subscription a month later, which I had never knowingly agreed to. This charge appeared without clear notification or prior warning, leaving me feeling misled and frustrated. Attempts to resolve the issue with Domestika were met with automated responses and no real customer support, and my refund request through PayPal was denied. My investigation revealed that many others have faced similar issues, feeling deceived by the platform’s opaque billing practices. Despite its initial appeal, Domestika’s questionable billing practices and poor customer support render it untrustworthy and ultimately useless. I strongly advise users to stay away from Domestika until it addresses these issues and improves its transparency and customer service.

Their business model seems to be luring you in with great offers and take £95 out saying you signed up for a subscription. You do not get emails saying you did this as they claim. The artists are great and they are using them to Scam people out of money.

Under no circumstances interact with this company. They have recently adopted a ruthless marketing strategy that offers low cost coursesthat leads to a 12-month subscription. This is offered with a free 30-day trial and a no refund policy if you fail to cancel within that period. Sounds simple, well it's not as all of this information is hidden behind a smokescreen of offers and tiny small print. Customer service is nonexistent and responses are computer generated. Mijn dochter kocht een cursus van ongeveer 5 pond en later werd er ongeveer 90 pond voor een Domestika Plus abonnement van haar rekening gehaald. DUS PAS OP!!! Zij voegen dat ongezien toe... ze informeren je hierover niet... je weet van niets... je kan het wel opzeggen binnen een bepaalde periode, maar aangezien je het niet weet doe je daarvoor ook niets en ze trekken het geld van je rekening. Dit is ECHT OPLICHTERIJ. Daarnaast passen ze ook psychopathische praktijken toe door niet te antwoorden op reacties, lees ik zo. Dit is gaslighting. Dit is een firma die alleen op winst uit is, kent geen waarden zoals respect, klantvriendelijkheid, vertrouwen,... Aan iedereen: gelieve deze firma te boycotten!
