Used to be OK, but has not been updated to deal with cloud technology. If the site you are checking uses cloud servers the site always reports it as "up", even if you're getting the cloud diagram page showing the server is unreachable. It stupidly thinks that's the server returning data. other sites I use for this have corrected that.
***** is an example of a site that has this problem fixed, if you want to see live differential results.

I use this on a regular basis. Highly useful due to the fact that I run a server behind a NAT and need to see if my server status is the same for me as the rest of the net. Thank you, so much for this service to whoever runs it.

Sehr praktisch um herauszufinden, ob die Nichterreichbarkeit einer Webseite am eigenen Computer / Internetanschluss liegt, oder am Anbieter der Seite bzw. seinem Hoster.
Ist aber keine Garantie. Wenn's trotzdem Unstimmigkeiten geben sollte, mal mit nem ausländischen Proxy versuchen.

I imagine and believe this site is OK - but why the hell does it insist on running javascript, just to check such a simple function as another site? This can be achieved without having to whitelist the site in my scriptblocker, so I assume it's only to run adverts, but there are BETTER WAYS TO CODE A SITE.
