Not likely since they’re probably stored far away from your actual data. But worth the mention nonetheless. =>Dropbox voluntarily disclosing your information to a third party This is the real concern. The question is whether companies like Dropbox should have the right to give away your data.

Be careful with what you store on Dropbox, they have NSA-loving Connie Rize on their board. Be mindful of pictures, documents and such and consider either getting a more encrypted and secure cloud solution or storing your valuable information in your own physical storage off-site from your home.

In 2010 they were synonymous with the cloud. Back then it was Dropbox Dropbox Dropbox. However, as time went on a number of competitors arose and the questions and flaws regarding Dropbox mounted. There were errors, bugs, data loss and the biggest of the bunch are privacy/security issues. Heck they even put Conoleza Rice on their privacy board! She is one of the people who helped set up the sureillance state. The bottom line is most users blindly trusting it have a 2010 POV. I apologize for recommending this one years ago. I was wrong.
