Like all search engines, you should be weary of your privacy. However, this particular search engine excels in that field, so much so, it's even used with Tor. The Image search isn't so great, but the interface is clean and simple. No clutter!
It's also customizable, to an extent. I wish it was more customizable, but the options that are there, are pretty rad.

DuckDuckGo, a new search engine, much better than Google, Bing, Firefox or maybe even Safari. Blocks out all the spam, malware sites and typosquatters, of course, this is the best site ever for searching.

Good site but results are not as targeted as Google and sometimes find it difficult to find what I want.
Does not auto select region, which can be annoying when I delete cookies so have to re-select region.
However, fantasic site because I believe it does not track your searches

Set as my default browser, DuckDuckGo.com is a search engine that does not track and save your web browsing or store your searches like Google.com does. Been using as the *default* for more than a year as of this writing. Why be tracked all the time? You can always selectivly elect to use Google, Bing, etc.

This is an excellent search engine that really does care about its users' privacy, but I honestly think StartPage is better. If you look on the bottom-right corner of any DuckDuckGo search result page, you may see "in partnership with Yandex." This partnership has resulted in many Russian domains being listed in the search results that Google doesn't list. StartPage, which is also privacy-oriented and even comes with a basic proxy service, did not have many of the Russian search results that DuckDuckGo presented either. This of course may be due to Google's copyright-related censorship tactics, but it may also be due to malware or other dangerous issues. DuckDuckGo does not have as strong of a malicious site filter as Google, so always have WOT turned on when you're using it.

This Is One Of The Best Search Engines I Have Ever Used ( And Still Use ) Its Better Than Google In Many Ways Like They Don't Track You, You Can Disable Ads Without Needing Any Plugins Like Adblock Or AntiAd The Site Is Amazing And I Recommend Everyone To Try It.
