There are some serious reasons to avoid this one: Big promises about compatibility that are likely phony. Likely lots of fake profiles. Sky-high fees. I also am not convinced that they aren't a privacy risk and that they aren't using their endless questions to better profile data to pass on. What else?

Within hours of subscribing, they cancelled my subscription without a refund, because they didn't like my secure e-mail address, which I used as a security precaution, and an I.T professional. They also did not provide any option to meet their requirement. This requirement is NOT specified before subscribing, so you are blind-sided.

They auto-renw even if you turn it off!! There is also no way to speak to anyone or request a credit or refund. Just try and find a phone number - you can't! All you can do is contact them through their email portal which just replies with an auoresponder based on keywords.

They either sell email addresses of their users or they got hacked since I signed up. I used a unique email address that has not been seen by any other company or person (except my web browser and email provider). Soon after signing up I was finding spam that violate the CAN-SPAM Act (no unsubscribe option) with explicit pictures. The spam did not indicate that it was affiliated with eharmony. Basically, whatever email address you use is going to end up with porn spam. BTW ironically they couldn't match me with anyone.
