They came close. They came really close to getting money out of me. I held off on taking further action with their donation requests due to my inability to donate (short budget this month), but I was willing to chip in a few dollars since I had some, and we we're coming close to the end of the year. But there was just something about the formatting of their emails that seemed an awful lot like something I'd get in a spam filter, and I just had to do some research on this group. Turns out, this is a scam on a political scale. Some of the endorsees they raise money for are Democrats that vote with Republicans, and the only senator in that group is Michael Bennet, who is definitely not someone I want to support my money with. This is just a group of politicians with a weak grassroots following trying to cash in on a trend to further their own agenda. It's a shame that they're taking advantage of peoples' hate towards Citizens United in order to fund representatives that won't work in our favor. I'm gonna be as vocal as I can about it and make sure that no one pitches in any more money. It really sucks too; Citizens United is definitely something that needs strong opposition. Just not like this.

Apparently this is a scam. I donated $5 already, now I am to receive a "free" sticker. However when I try to get the "free" sticker I am required to donate yet again. Once you donate, you will receive constant emails asking for yet more and more money.
