I have an email from the America's Got Talent people - it has a link in it that takes me to ***** But - in the email, that link has a red WOT dot and that dot takes me to this page. I saw the bad ratings - I'm confused here. Perhaps there is an error...??? The link works and takes me to the WOT-high-rated AGT website. But the link in my email looks bad. Weird...

Registrar GodDaddy has an excellent reputation compared wth other major ISPs like eNom or Moniker. On average, GoDaddy has a small fraction of its registered domains being spammed every day. (5.83% - 318 of 5459 every 5 days back in September). In November 2011, this crept up to 7.5% - 396 of 5256. Because it is the largest in the market, this fraction translates into about 560 violations of their terms of service every week. GoDaddy should create and monitor their own spam-trap and get proactive in managing this spam outbreak now that it has risen. They should work cooperatively with spam research companies to fix their problem. Since these disposable domains can live within a 3-day or even 2-day window, rapid action is required to send these miscreants away.

Our university student newspaper <http://www.dailyiowan.com/> uses this site in connection with its daily email edition. The bad reputation of this site gets in the way of links in that email. Today, this site isn't event responding. Don't know what to make of this site since it seems to function as an intermediary of some kind. I usually just go directly to the paper's own website.

The poor reputation on WOT reflects a weakness of WOT. Honest users of e3software get a poor reputation because of other, unrelated dishonest users. But that would be like giving a restaurant a bad review because you didn't like another customer there.
