The site is a good way to connect to friends and family, but there should be some concern about how Facebook shares *all* information provided to them to any application that you add to your profile.

A big data collecting kraken run by fools and unable to expand to other markets in time

Be CAREFUL what applications you add. That cute little 'poke' or 'present' that you send to someone may just be putting malware onto your machine.
