Безопасен ли facebook.com?

Viruses, Inappropriate pictures and spam will only be viewable, or downloaded if you are made a friend of someone who has these items on their facebook pages. If you are not a friend, you can't get to those site. Be aware of whom you are adding as friends or accepting who invite you as a friend.

For the most part facebook is good, though some of the ads they run are not. But I feel those ads should be flagged on the advertisers homepage, not here. The people who've sent me friend invites here are people I know, or know of through friends and real world networks, unlike Myspace where I often get spammed by unscrupulous users. Facebook is far better than that.

Facebook is the best way to stay in touch with friends and for inviting people to parties ect. However they do advertise things on facebook that are basically scams, ie how to earn $5000 in one month with google, adverts like that (which is a known scam on other sites as well). If the advert is from a company that is unheard of it is properly not safe. There are also security flaws with facebook and has resulted in people getting spammed although this is an issue facebook is getting better at dealing with. Don’t put down to much personal information about yourself on this site as it is very easy to access it and I’m also aware of a case in London that personal information was used to find out where the individual lived to beat him up. With all this facebook is still a great and safe way to stay in touch with friends from all over the world as long as you’re careful about not giving too much personal information away, and be aware of the adverts as well.
