A large part of the revenue for Facebook comes from advertising and games. These sometimes require the sharing of personal information which can identify you. Lets face it, no place on the internet is 100% safe. However, I know for fact that Facebook tracks your online movement. That in itself is a grave risk to your privacy. How much of our information is sold by Facebook, we may never know. When I signed up for Facebook, I created an online email account just for use within Facebook. I never shared this email address with anyone except Facebook. I get tons of spam at that address. Since I never gave it to anyone, why do I get spam there? My point has been proven over and over. Use caution in what info you put out there. Always remember, it could come back to bite you.

Used Facebook for a number of years now. Fairly competently run but also has had privacy concerns and some issues with cyber bullying as well that said the owners do seem to keep on top of these issues properly as any multinational company should do. Could do with better report functions on it for younger users but otherwise a safe site.

i think this website is okay i feel Facebook is sometimes a invasion of privacy and on various occasion i have experienced a scam hacker posting things to my wall i didn't post! its really weird i get really nervous because i don't want anyone to think i posted this stuff on my own like i'm weird or something.. at this point i dont feel entirely safe on Facebook

I use facebook because of family all being far away but we all watch what we post.I \ I wonder about privacy settings. they seem to change a lot I hate all the ads they have now coming up on my page I find sometimes the website does not work properly and have to get out of it and then sign in again. I do enjoy some of the things people put in to say good morning or joke's that are pictures.

Facebook to me is an adult site. Adult ranging from 18 and up. There is a lot of content that is posted that I find very disturbing and I am in my late twenties. While they do have games that you can play, the conversations that people post are not always child friendly.
